Description
Acyclovir Injection: Acyclovir is an antiviral drug that is used to treat viral infections, including cold sores (an infected blister in or around the mouth due to infection with the herpes simplex virus), genital herpes (a sexually transmitted disease characterized by pain and sores on the genitals), and herpes zoster (a viral infection that produces a painful rash). It is also indicated for the treatment of chickenpox. Acyclovir does not treat herpes but inhibits the spread of the infection and alleviates its symptoms.
